The experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we picked up the car, the staff tried to upgrade our reservation and increased the price from $300 to $600 for just two days, even though we clearly said we didn’t want the upgrade. When we returned the car, they first tried to charge us for fuel even though we had already prepaid for it as part of our reservation. Sixt at Fort Lauderdale Beach/Westin Resort has a seamless system of pickup and drop off. Evan S is an asset to their Team. He is solely focused on the guest experience. While in line, I also watched him defuse a situation where the guest was starting to get upset but he stayed even keeled and ended up making the guest happy.
