Everything was absolutely great! Even though I didn’t have a credit card, they allowed me to use my debit card for the deposit, which was only $200 — very competitive compared to other rental places. The service was super friendly, and even without a reservation, they had a car ready for me right away without any issues at all. I honestly can’t say a single bad word about this place. Special thanks to Betty, who assisted us — she was amazing! Returning the car was just as smooth and easy. Highly recommend!
Would highly recommend booking through Sixt over their competitor Avis, is worth going that little bit further if need be. We were able to book easily and seamlessly through their website whereas AVIS we tried to pay in person, they were having card issues and were super rude and blamed it on us. No such issue at Sixt! We were served by the wonderful Bethlehem, she was warm, friendly, quick and efficient in getting us our car and super helpful even giving us tips on where to visit during our stay in LA! Extremely disappointing experience with Sixt! After returning my rental car, Sixt staff made a serious mistake calculating the mileage — I drove around 2,000 miles, yet they recorded over 30,000 miles, which resulted in an incorrect charge of $7,232 USD on my credit card. I have sent multiple follow-up emails to customer service, Sixt admitted the mistake and confirmed that a refund of $7,100 USD would be processed within 3–15 business days.
