Jacob is a Great teacher, he explains what you are doing and why. He also forges a knife along with you, this helped me so much in forging my knife. I totally recommend going here and forging your own knife. The experience along is worth every moment. Plus, once you have completed your blade, and come back to put your handle on. Jake is a phenomenal smith and mentor. His products are first rate. You can't go wrong with getting something from him.
The customer service and quality are top notch. I would recommend to anyone.
I (Mike Peterson) took a class with Jake where I made a cross key chain and pizza cutter. It was an informative and interesting day. I have a whole new understanding of smithing. I appreciated his patience and teaching and would recommend him to anyone interested in learning the art.
