I spent the first five years of my life being volleyed back and forth between the infant home in Providence and my adopted home. I have to say that the sisters of Divine Providence were very kind. They doted on me, one nun in particular was like a mother to me. I went through a lot with my adopted parents on account of my attachment to the nuns and because of my mom's jealous rages. I have some photos of Saint Vincent's, which no longer stands in back of the VA hospital.
