Professional artist Vicki Walsh opens her private San Marcos art studio to a small community of student/artist of all levels, who are interested in building knowledge and skill in the core fundamentals in the practice of oil painting and drawing, while engaging in meaningful conversation about the focus and purpose of art and artists and what drives us towards creativity and expression.

The artist proprietor teaches and shows works by her students quarterly, but also hosts shows by regional artists and collectors. Art historian/critic lectures are featured occasionally. The space is divided into gallery and studio. SIP means Someday I"ll Paint. It is not a sip and paint place.
Bad customer service
Vicky Walsh is an excellent teacher. The gallery space is a good venue for students to show their work, but also hosts professional artists. Nice place to view art and have a glass of wine (and tacos!) Take a class and learn how to paint - it's fun!
