I had the most amazing experience here yesterday! I'm going to attempt to sew and make something after not sewing for over 20 years, and was there to pick out fabric. The owner of the store was there and talked to me extensively about my project, and took time to talk me through the process, offering tips and advice. She was so kind and patient, and it was a very pleasant experience!
This shop deserves a 5 star rating alone based on the staff. They were so personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great selection of fabric notions, classes and quilts. Items were also reasonably priced. Sale or discount sections was little ;) (I visited this shop as part of a 5 day road trip across PA. I was not looking for anything specific.)
I had ordered a couple of books and a couple patterns. Not only did they come to my house very promptly But they were very nice nicely wrapped. I have always received nicely presented products. To me, it means a lot thank you

A fairly large selection of fabrics, though do not go if you need any solid colors. Shop owner said they didn't carry them because they don't sell. I would say this shop caters to an older type of customer.
