I bought a steak and Guinness pie from these guys, stocked in my local grocery store. I was incredibly disappointed that the beef was tough, with fatty gristle on the first few bites. How about some quality control? I didn’t bother eating more. I will be emailing my local grocer to advise them that these are not good quality pies.
Their pies are delicious. I’ve had their blackberry peach crumble, bumbleberry, and apple caramel crumble. Instructions were easy to follow and they turned out great. Can’t wait to try their savoury pies next :)
First, if you follow their cooking instructions on the chicken veg pie (the only one I buy), it is still frozen in the middle. I noticed others complained 4 years ago but the instructions remain the same. Second tonight we had guests and had chicken veg, one of them was delicious and the others tasted like metal. They were disgusting and had to be thrown away.
Steak and kidney pie is next level. Eat Simons Pies, you’ll be very surprised 😜
