As a photographer from a different state to Simon, I met with him to talk about the business of photography. He is so fantastic to chat to, so genuine, hilariously funny, and so honest and kind with his mentoring. He has opened my eyes to possibilities and inspired me at a time when I was feeling defeated. I am in awe of Simon. He is a master at what he does. I had an opportunity recently to do a portrait shoot with Simon. I wasn't sure what to expect, and was blown away by the experience. Not only does he take incredible photographs, he listens with an intent to understand who he is shooting. He managed to capture my very complicated and yet liberating story in a single photograph. A photograph which is raw and vulnerable and yet which I am proud to share with my nearest and dearest. Highly recommend.
