I am only a customer of Simmons, as it was transitioned from Spirit of Texas. The bank does not exmplify the personalized banking relationships previously had with Spirit of Texas. The customer service and dependable banking partner was gone. I never received sound business service once the transition to Simmons happened. My business and commercial banking is a disaster with clients transitioning on payments. The recent mortgage loan refi with Simmons was slow, frustrating, with a lack of communications. Worst bank to be part of. Communication is terrible, customer service is terrible. You can’t use your card or transfer funds anytime after 6/7pm CT because of “updates” or whatever the person on the phone calls it at that time. Nobody ever knows anything and has to direct you to a supervisor. It’s like playing atm with a child and monopoly money, they never know anything! I wish I could give them a -5/5 stars. Shut this bank down.
Opened a new acct.stephanie did a great job.also they do have safe deposit boxes available.
I come here once a month every month! Always drive thru, never inside since Covid. There’s usually a older very friendly lady at the window or a young man..every single time it’s been either of those two at the window. This time I pull up to the drive thru and as should, pressed the push button to get their attention. Pushed it once and waited a good 5 minutes!! No one came.
