I am knew to Comanche and needed to open a checking account so I chose Simmons and they did not disappoint. Cristina was so professional and personable that I actually ENJOYED giving her my money to open my account. I hope that the rest of my experience with this bank is just as good.
Excellent service with local bankers and staff actually running operations and making decisions. Very professional, yet friendly and personal.
I don’t bank here, and while the staff does seem friendly, I think it is absurd that they charge 1% to non-account-holders to cash a check written on this bank. Walmart would cash this check for $3, and they assume risk. What the hell is this 1% fee that Spirit of Texas bank charges? I would never open an account at this bank knowing this. This is sketchy and wrong.
Friendly hometown bank. Very professional and comfortable at the same time.
