if I write someone a check and they take it to my bank they either have to open an or pay a fee to get the check cashed. Because of this I have to write the check for amount of service (ex for getting out lawn mowed) plus the fee that the bank is going to charge that individual. I don't always have time to draw out cash, plus it helps me keep an accurate record of what that money was spent on. This bank treats people like they are criminals. My husband is blue collar worker. He has to walk into this bank to cash a check from McMinn County Court house. The teller is so rude every time. Today she says "Smile for the camera" there is no reason to be rude to people. I would NEVER EVER open an account at this branch just based off the way these tellers treat someone cashing a check for one their clients. It's disgusting, next time I will get a name. I was in a hurry and started to pull off without my money from the ATM. Instead of simply looking in the cameras and helping me get my last $80 back, they treated me like I was lying because I wasn't a customer. I work hard for my money and need my money. Now I am having to jump through hoops to get my own money back. This is ridiculous. Saying it could take up to a month the make right. No one was behind me in line. I have been very satisfied with Simmons Bank I had to report my card used improperly by a company I ordered from and in minutes they had reported and cleared and printed me a new card and I was good to go so I have no problems with these people they’re wonderful
