We had a few firefighters come to our child care center to show off their fire truck & answer some questions, as the preschool class was learning about community helpers, and WOW! Max, Carson and Gio went above and beyond for the kids. Max gave a very detailed presentation. Showing the kids different equipment, scenarios and asking the kids questions to think about and answer. An amazing team of Silverton Firefighters Division (Max, Bill & Parker) responded to my request for checking my smoke alarms. As an elderly widowed, I am not comfortable changing batteries high up! Thankfully, the local fire department arrived and did this job along with educating me with the Principles of Fire Safety. With Gratitude, Ms. Williams
