Over the past year, we have come to realize that this memory care facility is nothing but smoke and mirrors. At first, we believed we were putting our mom in a place that truly cared about their residents. Sadly, our experience has proven otherwise. I absolutely agree with Brennah!!! Its all true, and one day youll all see and feel bad you let your loved one Live this way!! Very unsupervised, 23 falls since January from unsupervised young NON CNA's that they allow that lead to their deaths! I vouche about the glass eating incident and thay resident was sent to the hospital. Residents are left completely alone in hallways and they fall, most the time no one even realizes it yet. I cannot say enough positive things about this Community!!
Silverado is unsafe — neglect is rampant, residents are left unsupervised, and we even witnessed one eating glass during a visit. While we understand no facility is perfect, the level of neglect and lack of oversight we witnessed at Silverado goes far beyond simple mistakes — it is dangerous. Several residents, including our loved one, have declined at an accelerated rate since entering Silverado. Everyone at Silverado is loving and looks after each other. My wife has been at Silverado in December of 2024 and has really flourished!
