I have witnessed this shop do 2 jobs on sailboats and BOTH were a disaster. The first the owner couldn't operate his winch. They built the frame inches from it! The second, a previous build already had a bracket. They left the old bracket and ran a pole parallel to that stanchion, drilling in to the guy's deck, then mounted at an angle (a huge no no). To make it MUCH worse, they blocked access to his lazarette! Absolutely awful. I could never recommend these guys.
Low quality work, sorry to say. The baffles in some new cushions were made with poor craftsmanship and wrinkles. The snaps on all of our new cockpit cushions have broken off after the second actual use. The zippers in our bimini leak and are hard to close. Just spend your money elsewhere, honestly. You won't save any money with Silver Bay after you have to redo all of the work. I went with Silver Bay after someone's recommendation, but that person has since stopped recommending Silver Bay.
About 8 month ago I paid top dollar to replace the deck upholstery in my Yacht. And it now needs to be completely redone due to poor workmanship. Seams coming apart, wood backing and mounting points that is rotten and should have been replaced wasn’t, panels not mounted correctly, seams not straight and just over all not looking as it should. It looks very sub par low quality of work. Lots of short cuts taken. I am very disappointed and put 5k. It has to be all redone
