Sarah is so knowledgeable and a terrific teacher. She was able to explain the camera settings to us in a way that was much easier to understand than any other course we have done. She's patient and has such a wealth of experience that makes her classes a great time!
Did Sarah's 1-day Essentials course to become more familiar with my new camera. Morning theory grounded the exposure triangle clearly; the afternoon city walk let us apply it across changing subjects and light. Sarah is patient, generous with her time, and quick to correct course when you're heading the wrong way with a setting or lens choice. Came home with some great photos and a much clearer mental model of how my camera works. Highly recommended!
Sarah ran a wonderfully informative workshop. Despite being a novice, she was patient and explained ideas and camera functions clearly. I'm really excited to go on my next trip and use some of my new skills. And, of course, I'll be back to attend one of her intermediate courses!

The Essentials Photography was a brilliant course. I only got my mirrorless slr the day before the course and knew absolutely nothing about photography, but Sarah spent time taking our small group through the basics, making sure we knew where our settings were and how to change then and then we had great fun putting our skills into practice.
