Great experience and process when it came to a loan, very happy with the service
I would not recommend this credit union at all. From the moment I applied it was issues. When I first applied and got in, I went for a credit card & loan just for all of them to get denied (my credit is in the 700s) and get a $1,000 credit limit instead of the $5k. They did not even counter offer the other loan it was just denials. I applied to DCU and 2 other credit unions and got approved for $28k & a $5k credit card. I started in August 2024 as a probationary employee in Member Services and IRA. Shortly after I started working, I received notification that my personal information was found in the National Public Data breach in August 2024. When I researched this breach in Google, the timeline stated : "The breach was discovered in late 2023 and the data was leaked online in April and throughout the summer of 2024. Denied for an auto loan with a credit score of 808 due to them not considering the fact that a joint mortgage is just that - joint, as in two people are responsible for the payment. Complete waste of time becoming a member.
