Customer service was not very good

Never had an issue with this bank, and neither has anyone else I know who banks here. The other review on google isn't even from a signature bank customer. Customer service is nice, and I like that they don't have retail locations (this branch is on the 3rd floor), so we're not paying for money wasted on a retail location which is totally unnecessary.
This bank should be illegal to do business in the US, I sold my house and received at the closing a check from the sellers attorney of the full amount, ($430,000) I deposited the check to my Chase account and it's now over a week and not a single dollar is available, I called my bank numerous times all they are telling me is that signature did not pay the check yet nor did they verify, they attempted to call signature Bank and the response was we don't verify checks over the phone, Chase was kind to guarantee the hold will b... read more
