Saw a pair of shoes I wanted to buy in the clearance section, they had alittle clay or dirt on the bottoms of the shoes and the same pair in a different size where on sale for a cheaper price and the older lady that worked at the front told me that the shoes haven’t been worn outside and refused to apply the clearance price to the shoes I was trying to buy. Idk where they have clay and dirt in the store for people to walk on when they try on shoes but the whole intersection seems pretty scammy in my book.

We bought a double person camping chair at a different sierra store before a big camping trip. Adter starting the trip and opening the chair, we realized it was a broken single chair in a double-chair bag. We went to return the chair to this sierra store and was told it was used and it could not be returned. They would not let us exchange the chair either. This is essentially fraud and the managers lack any sort of common sense or empathy.

There is a large selection of active clothes at a more affordable budget than REI. My main complaint are the checkout lines. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes regardless of how busy the store is
