I had the pleasure of speaking to a representative here. I am on the health committee for our local NAACP. We are planning an awareness program to educate our black community on Sickle Cell disease/trait. Quannecia was VERY helpful and professional with her information. Even though we’re 4 hours away, she’s still willing to come and speak to educate our community and provide literature and they be a resource facility to help our Community. That speaks volumes. Please do not listen to the negative reviews. The owner of this organization has been an advocate for Sickle Cell Disease for years. Ensure that you understand it is a small, non-profit, local organization and they the absolute best they can with the resources available.
Did they skip town with the money again? There's no way to contact them and they've barely been active despite receiving more funding.
