Still waiting for a refund! Preordered 2 Digimon X Monster Hunter digivice virtual pets, Item got delayed but no email update to customers. ** 1 Year ** after purchase I asked for a refund, I followed up on the refund, 2 months later I'm still waiting. The shop itself is great, but online is unacceptable! and ill update my review accordingly once my refund is processed. but currently it feels like they've stolen $230 from me.
I went in today and ordered in a manga volume I've been hunting for a while. Super friendly staff, helped me place my order and told me some cool stuff about the store! Highly recommend!
Master 14 - a huge animae fan - was in for a treat today when we visited Shumi Shop. All the goods - books, figurines and even 6 of those coin machines that are absolutely ever in Japan!
Updated review from 2★ to 5★ as previous review was directly relative to experiences with a staff member no longer with the store, the management team here is fantastic and spent plenty of time remedying historic issues (irrespective of Google Reviews), kudos Shumi Shop, you have netted back a day one customer
Received great service from Chris today. We purchased several gift cards and I know in retail the process can be a bit tedious for staff but Chris happily activated the cards + offered to tape the individual printed codes to its respective gift card. Quick, but didn't feel like we were being rushed out - really appreciate it!
