I didn't want to have to write this review. In fact, it saddens me because Scott is a nice man. However, the gross negligence he showed in preparing my tax returns is beyond my worst nightmare. I hired Scott to prepare three tax returns: my personal returns and two returns for trusts that I manage. When Scott sent me drafts of my personal return, I noticed obvious problems. Scott is awesome! Does a great job and is very reasonable!!! Plus they actually answer their phone when you call! We have used Showalter CPA for years. I highly recommend them.
They are professional and answered all my questions. I highly recommend and will continue to bring my taxes to them. I was in the middle of working on gathering my information to take to them and they answered my phone call after hours. I had some last minute documents and it was nice to upload to their portal and saved me a trip. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I will continue to come to Showalter & Co CPA for all my taxes and questions.
