I have to drive up from Mississippi and usually have no problem getting in & getting my B-12 shot but today was definitely different. When I found out what time they closed this afternoon, I called to let them know I was driving in from MS but they had the recording on and you could not be helped until Monday. The nurse explained all the vaccinations I needed as an older adult. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The shots were not bad and only took a few minutes to get them. I will go back if I need any more vaccinations.
Bad experience – First off, I only paid $25 for a TB skin test just so I wouldn't have to go to the health department and I was hoping to get in somewhere quickly. The result.. bad. I am a registered nurse. I did not let them know this as I know how intimidating it can be as an RN providing care for another RN. A TB skin test is simple though. I was not expecting to come out of this place bleeding form a TB skin test!! I have never bled from a TB skin test. This lady put the ENTIRE needle in my arm, which was very painful by... read more
