Unfortunately my husband and I decided to have Jesse at Short Tax Services do our taxes and I will never again come back and I urge anyone else to do the same or if your thinking of having them do your taxes this a sign to NOT give them your business. I have never met a business that simply does not respond to messages and when they eventually do respond you are met with rude and disrespect. I worked with Short Tax for the first time in April 2026 at the recommendation of a close friend. Jessica completed my personal and small business taxes over the phone when I had an emergency, which I appreciated, and I assumed my taxes were filed on April 2, which was the day we spoke. Came once with a simple W2 and observed some questionable actions on other returns being prepared but was happy with their efficiency. Decided to give them another shot this year on a more complex filing. I always like a second chance. Needless to say, I was asked to leave due to incompatibility.
