They have helped me with my very first car loan, with staying organized by allowing me to open multiple savings accounts to keep my bills separate from my spending money, and earn a little extra from the 5% cash back checking! I recently moved my personal and business accounts to Shoreline. Hats off to the friendly staff I worked with an easy transition! The CD rates are exceptional and opening a home equity line of credit was a bonus. Lastly, I feel very “safe” with the security measures they take with online banking and direct deposits. I walk into the branch and always greeted by my name, I’m not a “number” like I was at the large bank I was with.
I used to like shoreline until I had a bad experience with a particular loan agent. I understand they arr a senior loan representative but the contract and letters we received were not well written or understood. And at the very least, they seized funds before a dead line of repossession and cure of debt. Again, I understand their policies and my loan contract but why give us the option to make payments or a payment plan or talk with someone and then take our entire account before we have had a chance to speak with anyone? I refinanced my car through Tomas. He made the process fast, easy, and clear. I got a way better rate than I was at before. I would recommend him and Shoreline to anyone!
