First, all cases are not pro Bono. this they do not tell you up front so that was misleading. I was seeking assistance for Chapter 7, spoke with an attorney who's said you have a case I'll call you in a week or so. which a month later I still have not heard from. I left a voice message last week just inquiring cause my court date is nearing in May. I was then informed that this ordeal will cost me $1000 out of pocket.... yes! on a disability/ssi check. so disappointed. I guess I'll be in court on my own in May.
