The expanded take-out department offers delicious selections, but, I think, at the expense of other groceries I'm used to shopping for at Shop Rite that they don't carry anymore. I'm handicapped and I can't shop all over town.
Best produce. The lifestyle and nutrients attributes found on the shelf tags make for fast identifying of healthy eating choices. Tried to pay for groceries using the NFC chip in my Galaxy s4. Worked @ customer service but the cashiers don't seem to be on board as how to use it. Eventually had to swipe the debit card @ express checkout with a few irate techno challenged shoppers waiting behind me.
This store is nothing like the Danbury store. The other teviewer is right. The hot food section is quite frankly garbage. I bought a philly cheesesteak with supposedly cheese and o ions. First off, the meat was boiled gristle, there was no cheese or onions. It was stuck to the wax paper. I couldn't remove it and it was not seasoned. It was 7.99 and I threw it out the window, though I doubt any animal would eat. Shopping of Brookfield, get your act together. We have choices and you are not one of them!!!
Called customer service because I saw a double charge reflected onto my account. The worker was extremely rude, pretty much pushed me off the phone all because I said in my account it was reflected twice and on her systems it was shown once. Customer service is supposed to be helpful and accommodating, not rude. Very disappointed, will not be shopping here again after over a decade.
This location covers old strawberries with chocolate. My son has been vomiting non stop due to eating old chocolate covered strawberries. He had some first and then my boyfriend tried one and realized how sour they were. It was too late. My baby is sick, vomiting non stop, and his stomach hurts so bad.
