I did try some other options over the years, and learned that although not perfect, this is the store for me. When things are fresh and affordable, my kind of place.

Bakery is good. Love WCK yellow american. Dry goods are pricey but fine. They fall short on produce because it's over priced and only goes on sale when there's excess, which happens because people aren't buying because of their stupid high prices. That excess is so old and of such poor quality that tomatoes, several varieties of lettuce, potatoes, onions, and a variety of fruits and veg have an accelerated decay rate. Terrible experience I specifically asked not to be charged for an item twice which the checkout person insisted that I was not turns out I was charged twice for an item and had to wait a customer service for 20 minutes, just to get payment back not in the form which I paid for Will not shop here again.

Prices are too high, for example i used to buy light & lively yogurt there. It now costs $1.79. In walmart the same yogurt is $1.18 They have ruined the convenience of self check out with the awful software upgrade, you spend more time trying to get help than checking out. I rarely go to shop rite now. I used to love that store, now I can't stand going there.
