Meat Department Shop N Kart Chehalis WA I will never buy meat at this department again. Against my better judgement I purchased some "tender loin" recently. Tender loin should have been a tender cut of meat, but this was more like chewing on an inter tube. It was like a muscle had been fleshed out of the round steak of the leg and filleted to be called tender loin. I have found much of the beef I have bought there to be similar. The rest of the store is satisfactory.
Fresh made Tortillas Recently we purchased the fresh tortillas made on site in the bakery. They were excellent and we will buy them again. We are not of Hispanic culture, but we do enjoy their type of foods and make them often.
great place to shop I disagree with Anon. I have found the veggies and fruit to be more flavorful then either Wal-Mart or Safeway. The meats I buy in bulk and LOVE the truckload sales...very good quality meats. I freeze all the time and never have had any problems...I do not buy the meats that are due to be pulled soon at the lower prices. Prices not as low as Wallys but fairly equal or better then SW. Huge selection of health food or ethnic foods. I have begun to do all my food shopping here,
shop n cart review the vegetables and fruit if you pick trhough them are of good quality as you would pick through in any grocery store the fresh meats do not hold up after taking home even after 1 day/ freezing is not an option as they will need to be thrown away even after trying to save by freezing.. canned goods are neat and orderly/ specific brands are sometimes not available but in general you will find what you need if you are not looking for a specific brand of an item.

Carries a large variety of health foods Along with having the largest health foods selection in our town, this store also has a wide variety of ethnic foods. This is the only grocery store to double manufacturer coupons. The do this every Wednesday and double up to $1.00.

Shop-n-Kart A+ We have been shopping at Shop-n-Kart for 18+ years and love it! My extended family has been shopping there from the day they opened. We have found their meat to be fresh and only buy our meat from them. The produce is always great. They are one of the few places to still give rain checks. The staff is friendly and helpful. If I have ever needed an item issue resolved they have done so more than fairly. We are very happy with their services and will continue to shop at Shop-n-Cart!!!
