Very rude staff. I purchased shoes for my child with the understanding I could exchange the shoes for a new size if they did not fit. I would not have purchased the shoes if the employee didn’t tell me this. I came back to exchange sizes and was told I needed to pay an extra $15 as the shoes were no longer on sale. This would make the shoes $65 each! Absolutely not how it works but the employees couldn’t seem to understand the concept. I visited this shop today for the second time. Two days ago, I came in to pick sneakers for my child and had a great experience . the staff member was friendly and even told me about an upcoming sale, which is why I returned today. Unfortunately, today’s experience was completely different. The staff member who assisted us was very unfriendly and handled my child roughly. Ordered something online. First issue was that the opening times of the shop are incorrectly posted online. On our second trip we were served by a very surly shop assistant who clearly didn’t want to be at work or serve customers. She couldn’t locate the order so clearly the order was not “ready to pick up” as indicated on the email we received. Service has been absolutely awful on each of my three visits. They do have some cute sneakers.
Always shopped at shoes and Sox for my kids until yesterday. The Belconnen store had a railing up so you can’t get in the store even to just grab the shoes you want quickly! I got there at 12:30PM I waited till 4:55PM and still there was 2 people in front of me ! If you’re not letting customers in the store you might as well be closed. - Disappointed being a mum of three children needing new shoes.
