Love this small town grocery store. I go here every other day for lunch and dinner. The hot meal deli always has something tasty, and you get a good amount of food for the price. Haven't had a bad experience there, people are always friendly! The boxed and grocery items can be a few bucks more than what you will pay at Walmart or Aldi's, but it's convenient sometimes to have things in there I can grab and go. Overall, I love this store!! I love the "large enough to serve you, small enough to know you." Slogan they have.
There must be a person who lowers the flag. Unbelievable! Every time the flags are asked to be flown at half staff theirs never changes. Someone in this shopping center has to lower the flag. How disrespectful to the veterans and ones serving us today! Lower the flag!
There is a heavy set cashier with short dark curly hair and glasses that we all avoid at all costs. If I see she’s in there I will walk right back out and go to one of the dollar stores. If you are in line behind someone she is checking out she will not start to scan your items until the customer in front of you is in their car. Five people working near counter and I bag my own groceries. One mopping floor at entrance and dirty looks me because I’m coming in to buy groceries at very steep prices. Live in South Charleston and realize I pay more for convenience but this is usual from here in the last year. Think I will be waiting and go a little further for lower prices and hopefully more hospitality
