We had a really lovely experience at Shoe Warehouse. I called ahead to let them know my son has autism and can be quite energetic, and the staff were incredibly understanding and kind. The lady who helped us was patient, gentle, and very supportive. She measured my son’s feet and gave great advice on what types of shoes would suit him, even though they didn’t have his size in stock. It was so nice to feel understood and supported as a parent. Truly excellent customer service — thank you!
Very pleasantly surprised by Jaida black from Comfort Footwear purchased online from Shoe Warehouse. This is my first time buying this brand; I am usually a Diana Ferrari and Hush Puppies fan. I bought five pairs of boots this season: four from these two brands mentioned, and one from Comfort Footwear, only because it was heavily discounted. Turns out Jaida Black is the most comfortable of the lot, and my favourite. Thank you Shoe Warehouse for giving me the opportunity to try this brand!
The ‘blonde’ mid-aged man on duty at Burwood Westfield this morning (06/02/25) was so rude and racist. He kept asking my my poor sister what she meant even though he well knew what she was saying. Hearing aids would help, and also, a less racist person on duty! 🤦🏻♀️.
**Disappointing Experience, Won't Be Returning** I recently bought two pairs of shoes for my 2.5-year-old. I didn't bring him the first time, but when I realized the sizes were too small, I went back with him to exchange them. My son is a bit hyperactive, but I believe that if you run a store that sells children's items, you should expect and accommodate kids' energy levels.
