Wow! I first heard of Shockoe Atelier after a friend showed me an old pair. I came to Richmond for a work trip and visited the store. Chris was super helpful and patient with me. The service there was very welcoming and accommodating. The pairs I purchased, are now my favorite bottoms to wear. Thank you, Shockoe!!!
I think this could be America’s best kept secret when it comes to raw selvedge denim. I live all the way in Austin, TX and noticed a few websites that sold similiar products were final sale, no returns accepted etc. When spending this kind of money on jeans thats a huge gamble to take on. Worst buying experience, ever. I was rushed through the buying process having felt that none of my requests were taken into account. Still, I made purchase hoping that they’d be considered. Took two months for me to receive jeans, after having to call and remind them that I actually made a purchase. Tried on final product at home and it looks like I’m entering the 1996 NBA Draft.
