I ordered a Petosky stone watch for my wife, for Christmas. I wrapped it when it came- I wanted to surprise her. When we opened it, we were disappointed. You couldn’t tell it was a Petosky stone. We went to or family Christmas Party and or second cousin had a Shinola watch that looked just like my wife’s. It wasn’t a Petosky watch. If you are interested in a watch at this price level - choose a company and shop that will live into its customer service agreements and will treat its customers with the highest of integrity. We purchased a watch for my husband to celebrate ten years of marriage. The watch strap unraveled after less than three months of wear. Not only did the company NOT stand by their product, they sent my husband to a different leather shop to repair the strap (which was an additional cost). I ordered a watch for my husband for Christmas. I was going to open it and have a peek, but it was so beautifully packaged that I didn’t want to disrupt the packaging. It’s obvious that great pride was taken by whoever prepared it for shipping and that’s not something you see a lot of these days. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he opens his gift.
