We are so lucky to have such an Honest, Friendly, Experienced bike shop in town! The door is always "open"...literally! Service is top notch and more than fair pricing. Have had full tune-ups, tire replacements and minor repairs done, all in a timely manor.

Shifting Gears is a fantastic community asset. This is a perfect example of why we should support small businesses! Not only do they have a wide assortment of bikes, bike accessories, and gear, their service is prompt, well priced, and I always can count on the quality of work. Paul is also very involved in the community, offering group rides and trips, coordinating events with the school and participating in local events. Really can't recommend highly enough!

I just got a tune up on my bike after it sat for a year or so unused. Paul is super knowledgeable, and he explained all of the things he'd be doing to put my bike into prime form. He showed me how my chain had stretched a bit and worn down the cassette. We talked through the options I had, repairing things now or pushing them into the future, and there was no pressure to do more than necessary (though I decided to replace them both).
