This company is nothing more than a scam. Think of the worst company you have ever dealt with, and then imagine one that is worse. That second company is this one. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE !! They didn't follow through on one thing that they promised. Now, for me to sue them, I have to pay an attorney $ 5,000 as a retainer, with no guarantee that this company even has any assets to go after. STAY AWAY !!!
Not surprised at all that this company just received a 1 star review a few days before I post mine. We paid this company back in 2017 to get a lien removed from our home from the IRS. Now we’re trying to sell our home and guess what we find....There is still a lien. When contacting Shields they said the first $2,750 we paid them was to work out a payment arrangement for us which is not true. This company took about $4,000 from us and failed to render the services they promised in writing. They promised to prepare our taxes and negotiate a settlement with the IRS. None of the above was done. Subsequently, they didn't return any calls and have been nonresponsive to emails. I took them to Small Claims and got a judgment. I have not been able to collect my money from them. When a collection company called them, they lied that they are out of business. Do not waste your time or money with this company
