Great experience, food was delicious. Restaurant patio was lovely in a sunny day. Service was excellent. We also visited their theater to watch the history of Shield's Date Garden. We enjoyed our tour around their store to get their famous Dates. Excellent product. Their date shake was so good. Worth the trip. Thank you.
Fun place to explore tourist trinkets. But the date shakes were great!!
Nostalgic Historical
I’ve been going to Shields Date Garden for over 50 years. It isn’t much different from the 1970s, and I like that. The nostalgia is warming for me. Of course, the date shake prices are much higher than they were in 1976 but what isn’t? If you don’t eat dates or have to try them, this is a great place to learn and be educated about the many different types of this magnificent fruit.
