This mall is not one of my first choices when I go shopping, but it does have a decent selection of shops. It lacks a variety of department stores, however, especially since it does not have a Nordstrom. The mall seems to be less crowded than others I've visited, which is nice.
Not all it's cracked up to be There was buzz about this place at work and I thought that it would be worth it to check it out. Although it is a VERY beautiful mall, there is not much to do there. With minimal shops at this mall I wasn't very happy. But the atmosphere is hip and urban... just the way I like it.
Sherman Oaks Galleria This place has some great shops and restaurant. My favorites are The Cheesecake Factory and definitely the Ben & Jerry's (be on the look out for the annual free cone day)! Parking is pretty easy since they have a huge parking garage and I'm pretty sure they validate. They also have a pretty big movie complex as well. Food Choices - good; Shopping - bad There are great food choices here - Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, etc. But there isn't much for shopping. If you want to see a movie in a nice theater and have dinner beforehand, this is the place to go. But, you will have to weave yourself through teenagers hanging out.
Nice hang out with restaurant, stores, movie theatre. I love this place and go there pretty often. First of all there's a really nice Pacific movie theatre with many rooms. Second of all there're some nice restarants as Cheescake factory, Changs(chinese restaurant), Food Ruckers, some nice japanese sushi place, Starbucks, Quiznos, Ben and Jerries ice cream, Jamba Juice etc. There're a few clothing/accessories, gift stores. There's a really nice atmosphere.
This place looks good from the outside. But I was disappointed becaus I thought it would have more clothing stores. There are lots of small fast food places, and restaurants. Also a theatre located inside as well as a big music store-can't remember the name of it. But it is basically a place to go eat and chill probably for the working professional in the area.
Sherman Oaks Galleria The Sherman Oaks Galleria is a cool spot to hang and chill out on the weekend. With many restauraunts, movie theatre, and fun sotres to check out, the Galleria is definitly a spot where most teens go to chill with friends.
I was disappointed when I first visited the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Perhaps because of the name I was expecting something that resembled the Glendale Galleria. But the Sherman Oaks Galleria isn't much of a shopping mall. It's quite small, but nice.They have a few stores there. The main reason to come to the Sherman Oaks Galleria would be for the restaurants. They have several good places to eat including Cheesecake Factory and PF Chang's.
Sherman Oaks Galleria is a great place to take someone on a date. I've taken my wife here many times to walk and around and have dinner. The choices for restaurants are perfect. From Cheesecake Factory to Buffalo Wild Wings and it's not "classy" but you feel like you should dress a little nice when coming here.
