Our family recently helped our dad move into The Sheridan at Oak Brook and we could not be more grateful for the experience so far. Finding an assisted living place that handles both the clinical and emotional side of aging is rare. The nursing leaders are approachable, empathetic, and highly professional. They are always available to discuss care updates and go the extra mile to coordinate outside resources when necessary. The in-house therapy (PT/OT) is also excellent and keeps the family well-informed. Plus, the building itself is lovely, great food and plenty of comfortable spaces to spend time with family.
We moved my father into The Sheridan at Oak Brook, and the experience has been excellent. Patti and the team have been incredibly communicative, warm, and accommodating throughout the entire process. The facilities are very well-maintained, and everyone clearly cares about the residents. We have felt supported every step of the way and would highly recommend The Sheridan to any family.
Wonderful all the way around. I am a daughter looking with her mom just to get a feel for it and I see it as a wonderful place to live, socialize, be healthy, meet new friends. Right when you walk in you are welcomed with a smile. Friendly people all over. The faculty is beautiful with so many opportunities to socialize. We had lunch and the food was great and the service so polite and friendly. The staff is not pushy, does not rush conversations, and listens to your situation. I think it’s 5 stars!
