Since my mum has been a resident at Shepley she has come on great , from being someone who just sat in a chair all day she now walks around sits with the poorly residents who are unable to join in the activities and talks to them , she sits in the Office and chats with the Staff , who are brilliant, the entertainment is fantastic, something on every day, , it was the hardest decision for us to make, that Mum needed 24 hr care but it was the Best decision when we found Shepley House , it is Bright beautifully decorated, and t... read more

Wouldn’t leave your vulnerable family members in here if you value them. Staff are rude, very un clean and will rinse you dry of every penny they can.
I've started a local non-profit that hands free flower bouquets to residents who recieve little to no visitors or that are going through a hard time. I'm finding it difficult to get hold of the ALF here though :( Who can I contact?
My mum has been living at Shepley House for 2 and a half years now. She became a resident during Covid and had a very difficult transition due to lack of visiting and contact with family. She has dementia so was unable to understand why we couldn't see her. Shepley house has recently been taken over by a new manager and it is an absolute pleasure to say that he is turning this care home around.
