The staff that is employed for this school district is absolutely abysmal. Not only do the teachers have a lack of respect for themselves, the students and fellow peers they further this by having the most toxic attitude towards anything and everything involving the school district. On the contrary, a handful of teachers have an excellent attitude and teaching strategy to better benefit the students (all of which are in the science department). Poor choice of electives. A few lack luster teachers specifically Mrs. Guy-Conell the research and English 10 teacher. She misses more school than most students and is in league with truent students. Band director Mr. Butchy seems uninterested in producing any quality musicians other than his favorites. Overall from my experience SHS is really going down hill.
