I would say your experience depends on th level of tourists. Me and my boyfriend just took this tour in late September and it was fantastic, we did the shell island + dolphins and if we had more money aside for this trip would likely go again for their sunset cruise. We arrived late and got a call from the team at Shell Island cruises to confirm we were on our way before the boat departed which I greatly appreciated. We had an AMAZING time on the cruise today!! We can’t wait to go again next time we are in town! Everyone was super friendly and we had the best time.
Great experience! Took my wife and my 2-year-old son. We all had a great time! Got to see a beautiful bird island, the Panama City Port, a stunning sunset, and Dolphins along the way. Staff is very friendly, and they welcome any questions. They do have a small Bar inside with Cold Beer, Mixed Drinks, other beverages and snacks. Definitely recommend to anyone!
This is a SOLID 10!!!!! Our last night in Panama and this was the best way to close out our family vacation. Capt Josh was awesome, friendly, and a great navigator. The crew was friendly and gave out bread to feed the gulls! I have two girls and they had the best time. We went pretty far out and saw a good amount of dolphins. The boat was not super crowded and it just made it the experience so much better. I would def do this again. Also a plus was we got to see the Capts first mate, a cute little rescued dog.
