My husband and I moved into Shell Harbor when it opened. My husband has since passed away. We were both happy here and were so glad we made this choice. Now after almost 5 years and being a widow, I am really grateful for Shell Harbor. Good friends and our managers right now, are the best we have had. They are our friends. It is like living in a neighborhood. Never alone. Marian Ziccardi

Shell Harbor is exactly what they say. They are welcoming, kind and caring. The experience my Dad and our family has been exceptional. I do not believe you can find a better facility. Thank you to all for everything you do. Highly recommend!!

The people are nice but to call this place 55+ is a joke. I’m 58 and 20 years younger than anyone here. 99% of the people here use walkers on wheels. This place should be called God’s waiting room.

The new computer system for all of RLC is definitely not an enhancement to daily living in the RLC Communities. It is apparent to us, the residents at Shell Harbor, that there was NO consultation with RLC residents or staff as to what was needed, what worked, what didn't work, what needed to be changed, or what worked fine. Some IT engineers (or group) decided, based on their lack of knowledge and experience living in an RLC community, have made decisions about the new system which do not enhance, but make our daily lives mo... read more
