I came to Sheldon Oaks because of the staff. They are friendly and helpful from the very beginning. Yea there are adjustments but my attitude still remains that once you remain and enjoy each moment. I can do that here.
I sold my house in Medford in order to buy a house in Eugene where my extended family and I could all live together. But we could not find a suitable house for sale. We needed to find temporary living arrangements, my daughter in a “Furnished Finders” studio apartment and I in a motel. People here ( residents and staff ) are friendly and helpful. Some things take getting used to, for example, definite meal times. I am enjoying getting to know people here.
