I paid Shea Stevens $600 through her "DIY Divorce KC" group to handle my divorce. As soon as I turned in all the paperwork and the invoice was paid, she stopped responding to my calls or emails. I do NOT recommend going through this poor excuse for a lawyer, unless you want to have your money taken for nothing. Shea Stevens, you should be ashamed of yourself. Shea is a solid divorce lawyer. I've worked with her on cases and she is communicative and intelligent.
Shea Steven’s is easily the worst divorce attorney in Johnson county. I’m currently in the process of suing her in small claims court. I represented myself in my divorce in the initial plea hearing and won as she sat and did nothing other than continually mess up information and gave me incorrect information on behalf of my ex.
