My dad came here after falling and breaking two ribs. I think he had been discharged from the hospital to rehab a bit soon, because he wasn’t doing well. He has some speech issues, so the staff at Shawneespring wouldn’t have known what his normal behavior or speech would be. HOWEVER, because the staff and nurses here are attentive and knowledgeable, he was sent back to the hospital for antibiotics. Horrible place. Seen thing's I never should of seen.
Shawneespring is wonderful place with a great staff that truly cares about their patients and residents. I would recommend this place to anyone that needed skilled or long term care.
