All of the teachers have been so patient and supportive of my daughter and our blended family. Our daughter has been through many transitions, and has fluctuations in self regulation. She’s experienced many changes in her life in such a short period of time. Shawnee Kindercare has been a safe and loving environment for my daughter since moving to Kansas. Due to job circumstances, our home is temporarily split, and this daycare is my village. The teachers, directors, and staff have been nothing short of attentive and understanding to our ever-changing schedule. They keep me in the loop with daily pictures of their structured curriculum and a rundown of her day at pickup. My family (3 years and 8 months) have been attending for almost two years. We have felt comfortable with the teachers that we leave our children with. Their current teachers seem to truly care for our children.

I brought my son to this daycare when he was just 8 weeks old, feeling quite nervous about leaving him in the care of others. Now, at almost 15 months, he is thriving under the guidance of his teachers at Kindercare. We absolutely love all of the teachers, as well as the director and assistant director. It’s clear that they care for our baby as if he were their own. I am so glad we chose Shawnee Kindercare; it has truly been the best decision for our family.

The staff lacks transparency and often avoids addressing problems directly. They didn’t accommodate our child’s special dietary needs, even after multiple reminders. On several occasions, we noticed there were more children than allowed by state regulations, and the teachers appeared stressed and unhappy.
