My mom enjoyed living there for awhile, and then everything changed! The food went downhill, and greed stepped in. They literally prices her out of living there. They are changing everything and focusing on making most of it assisted living. The front office is a joke. I have called several times and my call is never returned. Heaven help you if you need to get ahold of Peggy, she’s always ‘in a meeting’ and NEVER returns your call. The tenants are wonderful Betsy food is cold and awful and the administration is less than horrible. They care more about money then they care about their tenants. Myself as a visitor there was a horrendous experience looking at the cold food day after day there is so much turnover there it is hard to and impossible to get anything improved
Great tour with Janet. Very helpful and answered all our questions. Just waiting now for a place to open up. Everyone was very friendly and assured us it was a great place to live. Highly recommend!!!!
Shawnee Hills is a wonderful home for my dad. We are grateful for the excellent care he receives and for the great friends he has in this beautiful community.
Shawnee Hills doesn't have enough help. Thus, you have to wait for an hour to get fed most of the time.
