I give no stars. This person has given custody to my ex son in law who lies cheats, beat up my daughter, and prolly has abused my 4 grandkids.She has crushed my daughter who has been a devoted parent with my 4 grandkids. This is not how custody battles should go. The kids need to be with my daughter,the mother, who has supported and devoted her time an life to my grandkids. Just like the second hand soda, if you're looking for a second hand lawyer, then Shasta is the one for you. She's definitely no Sprite. No, but all jokes aside. She is extremely unethical, zero background in child psychology, and blinded by her own internalized misogyny which she takes out by not being a true and accurate voice for the child. I have a dear friend who has undergone a horrific experience re child custody thanks to this so called attorney. She has sided with and supported the right of child custody to a person who has been convicted of domestic abuse against the mother. I KNOW the mother VERY well and have personally witnessed on many occasions how amazingly well she parented her children and yet after she has endured severe domestic abuse with supporting evidence this so called attorney defended and supported before the court the right of the abuse... read more
I have had nothing but positive experiences with Shasta. She actually listened and to me and made me feel heard after the past few years dealing with NM Family Court. She is busy, but takes care of what needs to be done. She is unbiased and puts the child’s best interest first no matter what. Her services are pricey just as any other attorney, but its well worth the money! I highly recommend her services and urge you to not be swayed by the negative feedback , because some people just dont like when things dont go their way.... read more
