I visited Reese-Stealy Sports Medicine on 1/9/2026 around 9:00 AM for my 10:00 AM appointment with Dr. Kim. I arrived early and was approached by Amanda at the front desk, who asked if I had an occupational appointment. I clarified that my appointment was with Sports Medicine (Dr. Kim). The worst place to go! Dr's rely on Ai to tell them what's wrong with you and regularly cancel appointments with excuses like "Dr will be out of the office that day". A week before the appointment everytime. I would never recommend this place to anyone
I was at Scripps through Anthem Blue Cross before but unfortunately Scripps stopped accepting our insurance so I was moved to Sharp beginning of this year. So far, my experience has not been great. Booking specialists takes over a month, even if it is not a specialist depending on the doctor you want to be seen, it can also take over a month. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review for a hospital because there’s not much that would change but I’m honestly a little traumatized. I had a Nexplanon removal and a IUD inserted in the same appointment. First, I firmly believe this procedure is barbaric without numbing and I definitely advocated for pain management (I would not do it without being numbed).
