So grateful to have found Mr. Sharon! I haven’t played my violin in 20 years and had him take a look to see how it was holding up. He was able to quickly point out what was needed and even do them for me on the spot. I also needed a new bow and he was very patient in not only helping me pick a bow, but also explaining what to look for and how to discern between them. Cherry on top: his prices are super fair. Don’t hesitate to - call Mr. Sharon!

Highly recommend this shop! I got a fractional size violin for my daughter a while ago. It was of great quality and very reasonably priced. Recently I brought a bow here for rehairing. Mr. Sharon finished the work in just one day and even adjusted the curvature free of charge. Highly recommend!

A superb, old-world craftsman, the shop owner/luthier also has the most reasonable pricing I’ve found in LA. He’s also the most comfortable person around to talk with -- and this comes from someone who knew Fred Rogers (of “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood”)! His repair work (and advice) have proved solid and go beyond professional expertise: they both concretely demonstrate his genuine care and enjoyment at offering a job well done. Consistently great work. And a delight to know.

I had a terrific experience at Sharon Violin. I brought my bow to be rehaired and cleaned, which went great. But Shahrokh observed that it had lost a lot of its curvature, so I agreed to have him make that repair as well. It made so much more of a difference than I could have imagined. It plays so beautifully now, maybe better than it ever did. Shahrokh was always responsive, professional, and turnaround time was very fast, 2-3 days each time. I highly recommend!!!

Ive been coming to Sharon for all my violin & bow repair needs ever since I moved to LA! He’s super reliable and does beautiful work. He has great attention to detail and clearly has a love for our instruments. I text him whenever I am having an issue or need a tune up and he is always responsive and available. Super grateful for him & his “shop”!
